System Description

  • This flexible smoke curtain is designed for an installation in circle- or ellipse-shape and also as an open, curved (serpentine) design

  • Tested for temperature loads up to 1112° F - D type or Standard Time Temperature Curve (1920° F) - DH type

  • System consists of a continuous fabric panel—there are no overlapping panels or openings

  • Can be integrated with suspended ceilings

  • A laser-cut bottom rail with self-leveling bearing elements blends with the ceiling panel

  • System can be connected to a drop ceiling or can be integrated using a shadow groove method

  • Standard drive system allows closing as a gravity fail safe system: without auxiliary power

  • System can be designed for extreme widths up to 984 feet (300 m) and drop length up to 13 feet (4m); for curved shapes with radii > 13 feet (4m)

  • Textile curtain is stored in housing above the ceiling

  • Deployment mechanism connected length of the curtain

  • Integrated lighting available with the deployment mechanism
